Thermal imaging
Building Thermography involves the use of a thermal imaging camera to visually inspect a house for defects. The camera will record temperature differences on the surface of the building fabric to highlight cold spots.
Surveys can also be accompanied with a written report. The report will include all thermal images, photographs & solutions for any problems found.
Missing insulation:
Having a piece on insulation missing, or gaps in your insulation can really hike up your energy bill.
Do you know if your home is completely insulated?
Are there air gaps between your insulation?
Our cameras could detect it right away, without touching your ceiling or entering your attic.
New building inspection:
Before your builder signs off or you purchase a new home , conduct a thermal imaging audit to highlight any faults.
Water leaks:
Leaking water in attics or water ingress through walls can be found in a non invasive way.
Underfloor heating pipes:
Underfloor heating pipes can be located easily with the camera. This can solve time & money when refurbishments are being carried out in the building.
Air infiltration:
Air infiltration is one of the main sources of heat loss in a home. Around windows, door frames, skirting boards and pipework can be very draughty. The thermal imaging camera can detect the changes in temperature created by these draughts.
